What a night it was at The Shankly Hotel in Liverpool for Naomi Petrou-Brown's event on 5th June 2026. The Shankly is one of those venues that really sets the tone from the moment you walk through the door, and it made the perfect backdrop for an evening full of great memories, big smiles, and plenty of photos.

The Venue: The Shankly Hotel, Liverpool

The Shankly Hotel is a genuinely iconic Liverpool venue. Steeped in football history and housed in a beautifully designed city centre building, it carries a real sense of occasion. Whether you're hosting a birthday, a celebration, or a private event, the atmosphere here does a lot of the heavy lifting before the entertainment even begins.

It's the kind of venue where guests arrive already excited, and that energy translates perfectly when you've got a photo booth experience in the mix. We've had the pleasure of working at some brilliant Liverpool venues, and The Shankly always delivers.

What We Brought to the Party

For Naomi's event, we set up our Selfie Pod, and it was a hit from the very first use. The Selfie Pod is a sleek, open-air setup that's fantastic for groups, and on a night like this one, that really mattered. With a queue of guests all wanting in on the fun, the fact that it comfortably accommodates four or more people at a time meant nobody had to wait long before they were in front of the lens.

We also added a red carpet with ropes and silver stanchions to the setup, which gave the whole experience that extra touch of glamour. Guests genuinely loved the VIP feel as they stepped up for their photos. It set the scene brilliantly and matched the upscale surroundings of The Shankly perfectly.

The SMS Picture Delivery was particularly popular. Guests were receiving their photos on their phones within seconds of stepping off the red carpet, which meant the memories were already being shared before the night was even over.

A Night to Remember

Naomi's event was a brilliant example of how the right setup can really bring people together. The combination of the premium props, the red carpet entrance, and the instant photo delivery meant guests were engaged with the Selfie Pod all evening. It's always a good sign when the queue never really disappears.

The photo guest book is another element we always love seeing come together. By the end of the night, it's filled with proper candid moments and messages that the guest of honour gets to keep forever. It's such a personal touch that goes far beyond a digital gallery alone.
