Every now and then an event comes along that reminds us exactly why we love what we do. The birthday party we attended at The Vagabonds Lawn Tennis Club on 18th April was one of those nights. Great venue, brilliant guests, and a photo booth that barely had a moment's rest all evening.
A Brilliant Venue for a Grown-Up Celebration
The Vagabonds Lawn Tennis Club is one of those spaces that works brilliantly for a private party. It has a sociable, relaxed feel that lends itself perfectly to an adult birthday gathering. Guests had plenty of room to mingle, and the layout meant our setup slotted in naturally without feeling cramped or out of place.
It's the kind of venue where people actually enjoy themselves rather than just standing around. That energy makes a real difference when it comes to getting guests involved with the photo booth.
Our Photo Booth Setup on the Night
We provided our enclosed photo booth for the evening, and it was a proper centrepiece. To give it that extra bit of occasion, we dressed the arrival area with a red carpet, ropes, and silver stanchions, which immediately set the tone and gave guests that VIP feeling as they approached.
It's a small touch, but it makes a big visual difference. Guests loved walking up to the booth and felt like they were stepping into something special, which is exactly what a birthday celebration deserves.
What Guests Got to Enjoy
Once inside, guests had access to everything they needed for a proper laugh. Here's what was included on the night:

- A choice of hundreds of print templates, with a bespoke design created specifically for the birthday
- Unlimited visits throughout the evening, so no one missed out
- One print per use as standard, with upgrade options available
- Space for four or more people per shot, perfect for group photos
- A friendly attendant on hand all night to keep things running smoothly
The bespoke print design was a particular highlight. Having the birthday person's name and the date printed on every single photo strip turned a fun keepsake into something genuinely memorable. Guests were tucking their prints into bags and pockets all night.
Digital Memories to Keep Forever
Beyond the printed strips, every guest had access to high quality digital copies of their photos via a download link, and an online gallery was set up so everyone could browse and save their favourites after the event. It's the kind of thing that keeps the party going even once everyone's home.
We also made sure everything was properly covered, as always, with full PLI and insurance certificates in place. Setup and takedown were handled entirely by our team, so the birthday group didn't have to think about a thing.
Why a Photo Booth Works So Well at Adult Birthday Parties
There's something about a photo booth that gets people out of their shell, even at grown-up events. We find that adults often end up having even more fun with the props than younger guests do. The combination of the red carpet entrance, the bespoke prints, and the unlimited visits meant the booth stayed busy from early in the evening right through to the end.
It also gives guests something to do together, which breaks the ice brilliantly if not everyone knows each other. By the end of the night, people who hadn't met before were bundling into the booth together for one last shot.
